Glest free and open source 3D RTS with cross platform multiplayer support - check the MegaGlest thread for the latest MP beta client. LUA scripts are available for mini-campaign mode.

Maps and tilesets are here

Current client build. Offers improved particle rendering, eight player multiplayer/coop, some good 8 player maps, custom faction units and tilesets.

Medieval II: Total War, Stone Soup and Open TTD these days. Thinking about playing some Patrician III again and getting back in shape for Starcraft.

Dwarf Fortress, Team Fortress 2, for the most part.

If I'm ever in the mode for hardcore PvP, I hit up Haven & Hearth Forums.

Lots of dwarf fortress gamers here. When DF and stonesence are combined into one client = world domination.

Oversized swords/weapons are always a turnoff.

You judge a game that quickly solely on its art design?

ps. if i had herculean strength and was fighting creatures ten times larger than myself i know id be wanting some oversized weaponry

Someone find me a picture of a dwarf that isn't wielding something like a giant axe then.

Agreed. the only thing that really bothers me about Monster Hunter is the portion of players who only use weapons like the great sword and long sword because of final fantasy.

I just recently played through the demo time of altitude, reminds me of subspace (fairly different though) and am considering a proper purchase. It's a fun game
