You could try to smash your hearth fire and then log out while carrying something or while sitting in a chair.
If you're unable to log in where you logged out because that position is blocked, and you don't have a HF to log in to, you'll spawn in the wilds instead.

Smashing your HF then logging back in will give the choice of wilderness-spawning, regardless of how you log out.
