I don't think that matters, you only need like (per*exp) >=60 or something. But the more you have the more often you see the WWW I guess.

Hmm. Perhaps. But if they do it needs to come hand in hand with jerky making, salt (salt mines, yay!)(seriously, salt would make a better currency than the currently barely used coinage if they did it right), canning (is it applicable for the period? the game's aiming at? I guess not, maybe the making of preserves instead with the meat side of things more into the jerky and salt curing and such), grain silos, etc. Because if you can only eat the fish you want near that phase of the moon, that would be stupid. If you could eat them whenever as long as you had prepared correctly, that would make sense and add more variety to the market.

Haresting yielded 3 beetroot and 2 beetroot leaves. The leaves can also be eaten.
Eating a beetroot gave .2 PER and .1 CSM @ quality 3 (more perception food yay!)
Eating a leaf gave no FEP
