well no, see melee attacks take time to prepare cuz you need to save initiative for each melee attack but each attack deals a significant amount of damage. where as with unarmed, you dont need to save initiative for you attacks and can simply rain blow after blow on your enemy, saving your initiative for "push the advantage" and "throw sand" and other very tricky moves to piss off the guy or gal your fighting. melee is good in an all out battle like when you get raided or are raiding another village, unarmed is good for defending yourself and ambushing people. no one expects to get punched in the jack handle when they are busy watching out for guys with swords, bay12s, and ranger bows. marksman is only good against players who stand still for awhile, unless you have it VERY VERY high, then you can hit guys on the run while sailing a boat. I went for unarmed. the plus side for melee in hunting is that you dont need as much skill in it to kill animals as you would with unarmed. So I ask your preference; power attacks, or a hail of fists? heavy or scout? zerg or protoss? blah blah blah I could throw around combat imagery all day, but just think about it. oh yeah and for hunting, marksman is best in my opinion. always raise your marksman for hunting, and for PvP pick one of the close combat picks.
