its basicly either beeing pirate or trader [or both :)))] - 'till you get bored (this took pretty long for many people though)
there are several cultures (some humans, some aliens), a hundrets of ships, stations you can build, weapons, stuff...

ah, and you can play the game with a nice story. liked it since the first part of the series
the tasks are rich in variety challenging, though not too hard, if you use your brain a little

i like it, and as it isnt brand new it shouldnt cost that much either

Nice to see others playing X3, 'tis a very nice Elite-ish game with millions of options to tweak around and mod once you've grown bored of the basic stuff itself. It took me over 60 hours to learn how to play it, however, as it has a rather steep learning curve. X2 does, anyway.

Make sure to try the X-Tended mod if you get X3, it's awesome.

SUIKODEN 2?! Awesome, I played that when I was a kid. Good times, good times. In-fact, that's where I got my name.

Suikoden 2 was one of the absolute best PS rpgs. Hands down. Loved that game.

i played harvest moon on my Gameboy advance in the hospitial.

X3 is a Very good game, but it's a VERY in depth game (2 of the unknown sectors are full of my SPP, the ones that dont need crystals, and i own at least every ship thats buyable or capturable in the game.

Now i'm currently downloading mods for mount and blade.
