Though however accurate and hardworking the wiki editors are (thanks for the hard work guys) they're still human beings, prone to making mistakes.

Seeing a fox hunting something invisible, I imagine there could be something similar in play to seeing fish.
Could also exclude being able to catch fish ... but that seems to not be the case. (Or that friend was seeing fish but did not tell.)
