I live in quiet area and I haven't been hassled by any troublemakers yet, so I think I'm good enough with Palisade. :>

If you're not wiling to be proactive for a one-time upgrade in security you're probably going to die, and deserve it, it happens. Palisades just aren't safe enough. :/
