They'd fall under 'Usable'

These are categories for things that need their own different 'type' of info entered.

To be fair for example structures and mobile terrain objects probably don't, only buildings do (inside space of world; cellarable, and if so inside space of cellar)
Inventory objects if usable should describe what they do, equipment should have any buffs it gives, etc, food should have Infobox Food as it is now. Crops should have times and such listed, liquids should have containers they fit in and such.

If you're gonna go for objects that have 2 classes, i still think that forageables should have their own class. it's how you obtain them.

Buildings are built, liquids are in containers, clothes are made, metal is refined, forageables are picked. I think it would be a good idea.

Edit: stupid me, on the main page, there's a class for wild plants. Doi.

Well, each thing should have it's own category to give an example...

"Chantrelles" will be a terobjs that is under 'Foragables' category
"Chantrelles" will be an invobjs that is under "Food", it will be linked to the other Chantrelles page by being obtained by picking Chantrelles.

Alternatively they could be one page explaining both, either way.

For doughs however for sure there will be for example "Ring of Brodgar Dough" and then "Ring of Brodgar".

A while ago I editted the Ant Hill Wiki page, stating that you can raid an anthill without aggroing the ants by NOT buying Hunting, just foraging...

I did this early in the World 4 starting, and it still worked fine, but just recently I noticed that someone struck through that whole part and wrote next to it that you can't do it anymore. I have long since moved on from that stage and I was wondering who it was, if they actually tested it themselves and if it actually does still work or not...

The new wiki doesn't have enough world 4 content, and the infoboxes drive me crazy.

I miss the old one.

loftar fixed the bug that allowed you to raid the nest without the hunting skill

I've tried to update one or two pages, but seeing the breathtaking speed at which the Wikia is still updated, and how people just aren't going to change their habits because we haven't done what should have been done in the first place (made a huge post about changing to this Wiki, imported wikia wiki, wiped wikia wiki and put a page that redirected to this wiki)...

It's just so overwhelming. I'm kinda updating the Wikia again -- unless we can do this right, it's really a waste of time to split resources between two sites having most of the same content - all we're doing is putting a small amount of content and updates to a site that won't be nearly as updated as the other one...

I really thought that ringofbrodgar.com had promise, too...

The issue is that the guy that "runs" wikia and the only one who can really do that hasn't logged in since may of 2010. which is another point in the "shouldn't use wikia" category. i dunno what to do at this point.

We include a long explanation on the main page that directs people to try our Wiki, put enough info into the forums that people notice this, and we hope. Maybe we get more users. Maybe not. It's a point in the "dont use wikia" category but tbh most users are too stupid to know what to do with that -- maybe there's a way we can have a universal banner on all the pages of Wikia that puts at the top an explanation and links to our Wiki!! I mean, page creation and stuff is for all, so maybe there's a way.

EDIT: Wait, DOG is a SysOp on the Wikia - that might be enough to let us set a system message in the skin or editing properties of the Wikia, maybe.

Personally i use this wiki all the time now.

In case anyone is missing the link, or are too godforsakenly lazy to look back to the first pages, it's http://www.ringofbrodgar.com.
