We used the gold bars very late after getting them. About the same time we mined the russian gold out of under their feet. The whales are both still alive and well and hiro is a troll and not even a good one but klaue bites like a pro. We have no clue how much lp the whales give other than what jorb said back then. 1) Sodom would have raided Taar just as much with or without the crap I gave them. Obviously so. They didn't use a good curio and some gold to raid Taar. They used a war party and a bug. What I gave them wasn't in any way instrumental to what they did. Taar was obviously quite capable of bug-'sploitan themselves, and I didn't give them anything.

Again, *obviously* so. Only partisanship and extreme intellectual dishonesty could make you claim otherwise. Do you honestly think that Sodom wouldn't be a powerhouse without me? Don't kid yourself. They have been a/the top faction in every world they have played in.

2) We cannot wipe the map everytime we find "a critical bug" (whatever the definition thereof may be), because if we do then we have to wipe the map so often that we never even get close to the later stages of the game. If we can solve the bug without resetting the map then that is obviously fantastic.
