If your accusing me of any of it you should at least have something to base it on. Strange how I haven't ever made a single offensive bot to ruin others fun as you say I have. Unlike others I haven't even shared the client that I use to script with to as others like to call it "ruined the server with bunch of bots". Next time you want to start a witch hunt at least find a shred of evidence to base your accusations on.

Can you definitively say that your bots have not been used to build walls, guard towns, farm, gather resources, etc. and that you did not gain any benefits from these bots in the form of protection, trading, character building, etc....

No? Then your bots are absolutely ruining the experience of the players who do not attempt to bot everything. You ruin the trading that can occur from buying and selling bricks, you ruin the raiding that could happen if a bot was not there to patrol the walls, you out trade people who work without botting in order to produce their goods. Can you also claim that you have not attempted to exploit any type of game play? In effect, your bot is offensive to the general game play of this game, and effect the trading economy. And when the subject of botting comes up, each and every time you feel the need to brag about your work, and talk down onto people who argue against it.

As for your ego, people can just look at your previous posts and decide for themselves.

The think is, thatthose things would be done regardless of whether a bot did it or we did ourselves. when we built our walls at EC most of it was botted this world, but nearly every villager was digging and burning bricks somewhere, cause 1 guy using a bot wasn't going to quickly build a wall and sniper wall. and last world we did it without a bot at all. bots are great as support, but that progress would have been made anyway and a wall would have been built anyway.
Committed players who understand how to play the game and now what needs to be done at what stage, will always superceed others who do not or cannot play often. if u don't play often, then regardless of whatever amazing bot you have u wont achieve what an active town or player will b able to.
and xcom isn't a high q botter. he likes projects, building, testing things and sharing it with the community. he doesn't forage bot to build up his char, half the time he doesn't even use village curios to get his characters high, which he could easily achieve. and if any of you saw his maze project last world, u'd see what kind of player he is, because his mentality isn't 'beating' anyone else in this game, it's simply enjoying it. same as anyone else chooses to play this game for enjoyment in their own way.

anyhow this debate has gone on so many times, it's almost pointless. people can tear this now to pieces and accuse me and anyone else or whatever they wish to:)

If you want to play to have fun, by all means, go nuts.

If you want to compete, you need to deal with what's already going on... This means wiping your tears and accepting the fact that people are botting.

This thread is kind of pointless, as has been stated numerous times. You're either on board with botting, or you're crying about it on the forums. One side is obviously a hell of a lot more productive than the other is.

The fact is bots give advantage over those who don't and that cuts out the lower players by creating a higher competitive standard. That's indisputable. I'm not here to point fingers. What isn't helped by this witch hunt is deciding what should be done and if the current situation is one we want to see in w8. Your all acting rather chilish.

ive said it many times, and ill say it one more time since you apparently didnt even read the previous threads.
devs are planning to "curve the incentives" to bot by recoding the whole thing.
who wants to see the current situation to be continued in w8? botters and their friends.
who doesnt? devs and those who dont bot and those who have quit due to the current situation.
what i want is "real players" to play with, not bots, and the current situation is driving human players away and calling more botters and abusers/exploiters in.

Fuck anyone who thinks my accomplishments are just bunch of shitty scripts and nothing I have accomplished is worth a damn.

your accomplishments are worth as much as those hours of others yoloswaging or farming endless digital crops or whatever you name it.

if I used bots, I'd be happy to admit it. others in EC use bots. some don't. we all benefit from them. we all benefit for the experience and dedication of players in the town.

I don't need to justify how I play a game to sleep better. I have better things to worry about normally :D

If people feel we get a huge advantage over others in the game because some in my town choose to bot, that's fine. All I explained was we had an advantage even last world with NO ONE botting. so I think it has a little more to do with the gameplay, time, dedication etc that our villagers have to the town. but I understand that for many people, it's easier to say that large towns are only doing well cause they 'cheat' or 'bot' everything to death. whatever makes you happy, you can believe. I also want you to sleep better at the end of the day :)

And Tonky, my dear, you are as I always expect you to be. :)

Why does this witch hunt stop with Eemerald. There are surely more that can be tried in this court of social justice. Join the mob! Vive le revolution!
