If your accusing me of any of it you should at least have something to base it on. Strange how I haven't ever made a single offensive bot to ruin others fun as you say I have. Unlike others I haven't even shared the client that I use to script with to as others like to call it "ruined the server with bunch of bots". Next time you want to start a witch hunt at least find a shred of evidence to base your accusations on.
Can you definitively say that your bots have not been used to build walls, guard towns, farm, gather resources, etc. and that you did not gain any benefits from these bots in the form of protection, trading, character building, etc....
No? Then your bots are absolutely ruining the experience of the players who do not attempt to bot everything. You ruin the trading that can occur from buying and selling bricks, you ruin the raiding that could happen if a bot was not there to patrol the walls, you out trade people who work without botting in order to produce their goods. Can you also claim that you have not attempted to exploit any type of game play? In effect, your bot is offensive to the general game play of this game, and effect the trading economy. And when the subject of botting comes up, each and every time you feel the need to brag about your work, and talk down onto people who argue against it.
As for your ego, people can just look at your previous posts and decide for themselves.
The think is, thatthose things would be done regardless of whether a bot did it or we did ourselves. when we built our walls at EC most of it was botted this world, but nearly every villager was digging and burning bricks somewhere, cause 1 guy using a bot wasn't going to quickly build a wall and sniper wall. and last world we did it without a bot at all. bots are great as support, but that progress would have been made anyway and a wall would have been built anyway.
Committed players who understand how to play the game and now what needs to be done at what stage, will always superceed others who do not or cannot play often. if u don't play often, then regardless of whatever amazing bot you have u wont achieve what an active town or player will b able to.
and xcom isn't a high q botter. he likes projects, building, testing things and sharing it with the community. he doesn't forage bot to build up his char, half the time he doesn't even use village curios to get his characters high, which he could easily achieve. and if any of you saw his maze project last world, u'd see what kind of player he is, because his mentality isn't 'beating' anyone else in this game, it's simply enjoying it. same as anyone else chooses to play this game for enjoyment in their own way.
anyhow this debate has gone on so many times, it's almost pointless. people can tear this now to pieces and accuse me and anyone else or whatever they wish to:)
