drama
The ones who see things differently.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

I wouldn't mind the arguing so much if it didn't spill into other threads :/.
What defenses weren't you using? I visited BN and the only defense I didn't see were Hfire guards. Though it could be because I tried not to leave any tracks in your claims.
Did you know that some of you have very bad night vision?

drama

Yep.
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.

The reason this happened was not because we were not utilizing certain defenses

Two "nots".

I think Hamel was trying to say that there really wasn't anything we could have done to prevent someone from building racks all over BN.

Did you know that some of you have very bad night vision?

Yeah, some nights it can get very dark, and I don't like cranking the brightness up unless I can't see at all.

Even if they had seen you, it's not like they would have chased you out of town. We don't mind visitors in BN, just so long as they don't try to steal anything, or go poking around in peoples claims.

In this thread they've already told us they killed someone and walled in another with fires, who were in no way related to me. Because someone looked in one of their crucibles and another built a hearth too close =/

I'm guessing that once the town idol starts working people wont be able to build stuff in their town anymore, which will solve most of their problems. You already cant build stuff on other people's claims.

For some reason they think I care way too much. They walled me in so I walled them in for one afternoon. Then stopped I don't really plan to do anything else to them, though adam seems to want me to kill his char for some reason... I'm only posting in this thread because I'm bored.

And they do have bad night vision they walked passed me a couple of times when I was building a rack, and I couldn't get out of the way fast enough because I had just moved an object.

Also Blaze someone left a thief scent on your(and several other people's) property and has their hearth hidden in the ROB, are you going to wall in their hearth?

Well, I didn't really mean for it to be permanent. I could've simply kept my mouth shut after the incident, but I posted to: a) make sure devs know you're walled in, b) to make a statement to all would-be thieves, and to hopefully discourage them from hiding their hearths in Bottleneck.

Potjeh wrote:You can make this one low priority. Just today I noticed theft clues by my crucibles (which were empty) and chests. Nothing was stolen, so I decided to find who it was just for the sport of it. I had no intention of killing this rude trespasser, but then I found out that his hearth is hidden behind a house in Bottleneck. Well, I loathe people who use such cheap tricks, so I built a bunch of fires behind that house. I'm fairly sure he's walled in and can't get out.

Had this "thief" placed his hearth where he could be summoned, he would most likely have kept his character. I'd just rough him up a bit and leave him a note to stay out of my stuff. But by using his cheap trick he has ensured that all of his LP will be wasted. So, it's actually against the thieves' interest to hide their hearths, because it *forces* people to wall them in.

Those were the key points for me.

You mean the ones in front of the carts filled with bones and intestines?
Nah, walling them in is a waste of my time.

The person who Adam killed was a thief. He was killed because he broke into Adam's crucible vault and cabin, and then ran away. That thief had stole a few of Adam's belongings.

The person whom Adam walled in with fires as a precaution, was a reasonable and understanding individual, so everything turned out fine for both parties.

A fine job of ripping apart Potjeh's posts and putting words in his mouth, says I.
The grumpiest tree you ever did see.

Character: Hamel, previously Chieftain of Ancient Bottleneck, a founding father of the Confederation of Bottleneck. Currently a hibernating soul.
