I personally don't use any of those bugs, even though I've been aware of them since I started playing, but that's beside the point.
Hearth Vaults are not intended and get nuked... that is something clearly not intended (as not being able to block people from moving on water with a claim proves), and yet, they are abusing a bug to block the water. Therefore, there is more than enough reason to nuke that if they completely block the river. (yeah, it can be destroyed, as you mentioned, but only by destroying the village... that doesn't make any sense).

As has come up many times, the tanning thing isn't a bug, it's a "feature" that has been allowed because it's a workaround for a known bug. When a map unloads it nukes tanning progress. The most effective work around was this tanning "bug" you speak of.
