Why? A lot of EU countries are ruled by parties which self-identify as socialist, so these countries are de facto socialist. They're still the best place in the world to live in.

Or, rather, I do not care much about the word "socialism". I am against central economic planning and government intervention in the operations of the free market. I believe that those things by their nature lead to tyranny. Whether those things are socialism or not isn't exactly important. While it isn't important, it should be said that you do not have some special privilege to determine the use of that word. Your talk of "actual socialism" is nonsense, as it completely lacks any reference in actual reality, as you yourself seem to agree.

The government has to intervene on the 'free' market in every market. Without government intervention things would go to shit reaaaalll fast.
