Now here's the thing about curios, within the curio system there are only a few ways to grind:
1)Trolls - If their skulls are truly so much LP, then 'grinding' trolls is a very important aspect of leveling up and a village that does so and one that doesn't will be on different levels.
2)Rare foragables - Foragables that are rarer like perfect hole, bluebell, prince charming. These will make a difference and actively 'grinding' to find these will make a differnece.

Actually I don't know if it is actually grinding. For example, you can dig a lot for troll (or just ask Trolloskop where he lives) and even if you find one, this time could be used to find other curios, more common that could give you in same time more LP. But lets say there is no troll and you grind for 0 LP.

This is true, but that's why you need to keep the good rare curios (Bluebell, Flotsam) all the time.

Prince charming is same idea, you can just pick up all frogs you ever see, maybe you get one, maybe you don't, is it worth it? Of course, once you get lucky!
Perfect hole - No way to rush it, doesn't take much time, just have more racks!
All that's left eventually if you can stay 'ahead' on bluebells, is troll skulls or prince charmings.

Also you can buy these things for good resources.
