Browsing youtube (well, the internet in general) is like shopping at the mall. You either have the filters for the crap people try to push off on customers (viewers) or you don't and get caught up in it and regret the $2000 credit card bill at the end of the month. I think clicking random youtube links is like buying a burger from the food court. Sure, it looks good from the picture, but you really don't know where it's been or what it contains, and when you get the real thing, it's going to look like a dog turn, so it's probably better for you if you don't bother at all.

Aaaanyway. Maybe I should look into this Kickstarter thing... wonder if there's terms and conditions on it like "if I cancel my project, do I owe the money back?"...

Bought URW about a week ago, best 3$ I've ever spent.

Finished my first cabin lastnight, went out hunting right afterwards.

Ran into a random Njerpez warrior guy. Couldn't do a thing, snapped my shit up seven ways to sunday.

Fun fun fun.

URW was fun... kinda. Problem is there's no one to show your cabin to, nothing to craft for others to use. Don't get me wrong, had fun for a week, well worth 3$, but for me the lack of indepth crafting and trading made the game a short term diversion.

Also: Dawntide is currently not operation is it not? Server shut down in march and the client is not available for download when I poked around their site.

the biggest prob i had with urw was the fact i could get anything and everything i wanted by just makin a bunch of javelins.

Want a fish net, give me some javelins.
want a metal axe of everykind, give me some javelins
want a sword, arrows, fish, meat, Damn near anything i have to trade including my wife and daughters, give me some more javelins

Cups were the highest value/crafting time and incredibly portable. Javelins were at best 1/2 to 1/4 the value per hour spent.

My God, why? *sigh*
