I'm sorry to say this, but every place that have "strong traditions", have also a Strong discrimination or can easily Refuse who is different. (if the tradition don't point out to not be like this)
So, if the tradition says that womans have to dress in a certain way, or act as traditions want (or we can call it Culture), then every other woman are "Stupid" and "Deserves what they got".

My opinion?
I'm bored as hell by this stupid, closed mind, way to think. It can be the Church (where i live), the Traditions, the "good thinking". I don't give a shit at it.
Someone have been raped. It can be a criminal, a bitch or a pure woman. Shutup your mouth and do the Right thing, not only the thing that you find more easy. That woman is not like you pretend she is? Nevermind, do you'r job and respect your justice. Or, also, fulfill your mouth with shit and shut up.

Sorry, but no Culture or Tradition justify haters and drisciminations.
Is just the easyest way to live and to feel "on the right side". Who is on the "wrong side" is nothing more than a stray dog, and this is too EASY, guys.
Really, too easy to be "good" like this.

Point of amusement: 'discriminatory' used to be something of a compliment. It meant you had very specific interests and tastes. Like, you disliked other brands of whiskey and would only drink Maker's Mark.

Also, define 'haters'. It's very easy to make the same mistake you're complaining about by dismissing people with valid questions as such.

I hope that the meaning that i was putting in "Discrimination" is, somehow, comed out from the post.

Anyway, whoever justify a killer because the victim was badly dressed, is a criminal as the killer. So i find hard to call "valid questions", this easy way to feel good and right.
Is just easy and a lot human. But not valid.

Discriminatory, when used in a negative connotation implying racism, sexism, etc. is still using the same meaning: being selective of one thing over another. Now, it's one thing to say "I prefer to only drink Jack Daniels," and another to say "any other whiskey is nasty and not worth putting to my lips." Put in race terms, you go from being discriminatory to racist. It's not exactly the same thing, but the line is very fine and blurry.

hemm. ok well that was the meaning, yeah.
I didn't knew that was more common in the literal meaning. We use it rarely in that way.
Sorry for the mistake.

Modern usage of discriminatory has taken on the more negative meaning of being racist, sexist, or otherwise intolerant of others due to the common use as a synonym of more appropriate language where specific language would probably be better. I'm hardly an expert on the matter, but it seems to be the only time I see the word used unless it's a rare high-minded appeal to the human desire of finer things rather than just ordinary (such as alcohol adds)

Even then, I don't recall any recent advertisements that use it in such a way because of the negative publicity it would draw, at least in the US (can't speak for other English nations). When Chapstick had to change their label from "aids in healing..." to the modern wording on the product, you know things have gone completely FUBAR. (People claiming the tube claimed to heal AIDS/HIV. If that was the case, I have some beeswax and yellow jar of petroleum jelly that will do the same.)
