I have, and I imagine many of you have also, noticed that this war is getting a tad bit... stale...

So, I propose we start from scratch, in a more interesting locale.

Actually, what I propose is quite a lengthy ordeal. I won't describe it all here (Haven't thought it all up yet), but I'm thinking some sort of Post-Apocolyptia/Zombie War where you have to scavenge buildings and such for supplies and building supplies. Resources would give people a REASON to fight.

I'll edit this post with anything else I think up of. It's 3:30AM and I want to get up at a decent hour, so looks like I'll be up all night.

As an aside, anyone wanna do a medieval war through PMs or anything?

Or, a medieval map, where there are a couple of big strongholds, and then anyone else who joins late can build their own little forts, which are smaller, but can gradually be built up to a stronghold. There could be rare crystal veins in the ground that are highly valuable, since it is used to train up strong magii and also used when the magii use spells. This would cause a few fights, seeing as you'd have to secure it, and have a baggage-train going all the way to and from your castle, which would be easily attackable.

You could use your magii to summon evil creatures from the netherworld, or creatures from your world, such as dragons, trolls, rabid wolves. I think it would spice it up a bit...

The magii could be split into 4 classes, that they later go into. It would take a lot of training, and some magii are forever acolytes since they cannot become in tune with the earth, but there are some special cases.

Earth Mage - They'd be in touch with the earth. They could help build fortifications, strengthen both buildings and weapons / armour. They could help forests flourish, and wildlife too. They are peaceful, and are mainly used in defensive situations.

Pyromancer (Fire Mage) - Lovers of fire. They rain down death and destruction where ever they go. They inspire bloodlust and arousal in those around them, and usually are quite greedy and materialistic. They fear earth, because it can easily beat them. They are the only ones that may summon creatures from the netherworld, though they are especially alluring to fire-breathing demons and lizards. Fire mages are extremely volatile, and when killed in battle, they release a large spirit of fire. As it consumes things, it grows in strength, but alas, the fire mage inside slowly loses sanity and becomes taken over by fire, and usually cannot determine friend from foe, so they devastate land.

Water Mage - Peaceful, soothing magii. They can heal, they can soothe and they have some sense of foresight. When they are around people, they cause a sense of relaxation and calm. A must have during an intense battle, or a siege, for it can mean the difference between defeat and victory. Keeping the soldiers in the right frame of mind is all that matters. They are extremely strong healers, and if they have water with them, can heal even the most mortal of wounds. But, even this strong skill has its boundaries. They cannot heal back body parts, or grievous wounds of the vital organs (heart, lung [depending on the situation], brain, gut [easier than the others to heal, highest chance of prevailing]). They are usually closest to earth magii. Pyromancers are their most hated enemies.

Air Mage - The most volatile of all. Pyromancers at least have some degree of control. With air magii, they have given themselves to the wind, and they have lost all sanity. They are usually greedy, stubborn and very, very twisted. They usually like to stir up havoc, especially when it harms the opposing team. They can cast powerful spells, such as assassination spells, which when enscribed on a scroll, kills whoever opens it. Good for assassinating kings. They can kill armies, but are easily, easily killed by water magii.

Keep in mind, even though fire hates earth, if they are on the same team, they can still get along with each other. Also, not ALL pyromancers give in to the lust and greed that usually comes with giving oneself to fire. A rare few can control these urges, and live normal lives and actually be kind and compassionate. But don't expect to stumble upon these types very often, for when someone gives themself to a certain power, they usually change completely with their personality.

All in all, I think it would make an awesome game. Good battles, where magii aren't overpowered. But making them takes a lot of crystal and a LOT of time and patience. Also, you always have the risk of losing the most powerful out of the four (fire and air) to insanity, and doing more harm to your kingdom then to the enemy.

I propose we have a BIG map, with rivers and such. I'd draw it myself, but I kind of suck.

What say you all to this? Anything you want to change? Or do you wanna stick with the post-apocalyptic zombie outbreak?

Also, for this, we'd NEED to have humans bigger than 1x2. How can we have different soldiers and stuff when they can't even have swords because swords would be the same size as their body?

I've got a free army sprite sheet here that I can share with everyone, or you can go and just find your own. It's quite easy.

Or you could all stop playing this game the same way you play Haven, like a bunch of carebears who just build shit up but never do anything with it.

The problem is there is never any reason to fight. I've never been majorly robbed, no one has attacked me, I can't take on anyone who has any good resources, etc.

You, on the other hand, have pissed off a ton of people and the result is you coming down, finding a thread like this one, and posting an unhelpful and stupid response.

Agree. Like Agg said, why make enemies? Just be happy in the fact that you ARE strong enough to kill people, but you choose only to do so in self defense, or if it is a must.

Loopoo, that's a nice thought that would be really good in real life, except for the fact that not everybody can see the sense in that. Since humanity is plagued with religion, they believe it IS a must to kill people. Afterall, they want their 72 virgins

On topic I suggest you make some sort of island map. A really wide map with a bunch of different islands, and one in the middle with a large mountain/inactive volcano(or even active). I would join that for sure.
