Why not. if you abuse hiding behind a building we can abuse building fires around you behind the building.

And they can just make another character and wall in the entire ring freeing themselves as someone comes by and cleans it up.

Well the problem ybobjoe is you can harvest a smoldering clue mark for a good 8-16 hours, and harvested clues last forever, and you can just stockpile tons which never disappear. Making the only way to survive as a thief to hide behind objects. Not to mention stealth does NOT help in any amount whatsoever. Since it does a exploration check every time you enter the area, or even rechecks when you turn tracking on or off with 1 exploration capable of covering up to 30 stealth.

How do thieves combat this? We don't even bother making pkers or training our characters as we just die, and we go out of our way to be assholes to make up for the fact its a game to see how much you can do until you die. Some people use lots of alts.

Oh the joy of that must be overwhelming.
I quite liking murdering all those alts really. Something to do when i don't want to do something useful.

Well you could always make a huge claim or attach it to the ocean and then hide your hearth behind something and not have to worry.

I'm almost tempted to make a PK character, but it would take too long and more people would quit XD So its not quite worth it lol

Theres the problem. I don't care enough to want to grind lp 24/7 to catch up to someone like milaha just to pk them.

You'd have to be some sort of horrible loser to play a game for days at a time.

Or at least someone who has a lot more free time than you. ;)
The grumpiest tree you ever did see.

Character: Hamel, previously Chieftain of Ancient Bottleneck, a founding father of the Confederation of Bottleneck. Currently a hibernating soul.
