You don't take anything I say in regards at all anyway, you've completely ignored my posts numerous times, including arguing with me WHEN I AGREED WITH YOU.

I'm not angry, I get angry maybe once in every 12 months, it's an incredibly rare thing, I possibly have some sort of horrible repression issue there, but so far it's working out ok for me *twitch*

man i am so mellow

i dont ever get angry, like maybe once a year but that doesnt count bro

it doesnt count

I did not read the thread. I could probably guess to it's contents though. My official stance on whatever shenanigans the goons are involved in is:

"lol goons"

Thank you for your time. I encourage you to take the same viewpoint, otherwise they will drive you up the wall :-)

Back to srs bzns.

I was in the party that killed Goku. I didn't take loot anything other than stuff on his corpse, nor did I destroy anything. AFAIK no other members of that party destroyed anything, and all that was taken was some wrought iron as compensation for iron stolen from Laketown by some of the Goontown residents. However, I was a condescending ass, and I apologize for that.

Anyway, I do not approve of any genocide. My personal rule is to only kill with a scent, in self defence or in defence of a newbie or a friend. If you attack me while I'm after a thief, it counts as self defence. That being said, I'd prefer not to kill anyone. If an arrangement could be made that if I manage to track you down you give me back my stuff + 25% of it's worth (to discourage stealing from me) I'd be happy, but I doubt that's going to happen.

Now, my view of why this genocide is occurring - people are afraid of goons. You guys currently make over 50% of the playerbase, and you're all sticking together. Such a monolithic block can make anyone uneasy, especially if they've read your IRC which involves people talking about plans to wreck the whole game and get everyone to ragequit. However, only a couple of goons have been really active in the IRC, so it's impossible to tell what the silent majority plans.

Anyway, I think that people are trying to split you guys up with genocide, but IMHO giving you a common enemy will achieve just the opposite. I won't hide that I'd like to see you guys split into two or more factions, but I think that the right way to do that is to sit back and wait. As a short term plan, getting you guys distracted with crafting is the best option, so I'll bring you a bit of resources for starting any industry you lack and I can provide (mostly seeds and silkworm eggs / mulberry saplings). Of course, I'll make an alt for the deliveries, because I still have a bit of healthy distrust towards some of you.

As for offers to integrate goons into other towns, I don't think it amounts to slavery. Bottleneck has enabled economy when we got nobility, so anything you make is yours to keep or trade. I am lawspeaker of Bottleneck, but I am not the leader - I merely fill a function required for establishing a village. Yes, I give a lot of advice, and people often listen to it, but nobody is obliged to do as I say. All that is required of Bottleneck residents is to not commit crime and to devote a bit of their time and resources to public works such as road building or expanding the village claim. And the latter isn't that strict a requirement - nobody will kick you out if you don't contribute to the village, but some people may dislike you. All residents of Bottleneck are free to leave any time they wish and take their belongings with them. That all being said, we're not accepting large immigrant waves until we put up walls around all current residents' homes.

(Bah, posted with my ~trading~ alt. DISREGARD THAT.)

Potjeh, when you guys killed Goku, you pissed him off and severely inconvenienced him (lol). I don't actually mind that, as that's fair retaliation for him doing the same for you.

Um, what you failed to realize is that once we realized 10 of us could literally not take a single one of you when we tried to group (so we couldn't defend ourselves), we were pretty unhappy. Also, it was 1 medium-level player, 1 high-level player being nice to us but not "with us" (Blaze is cool), and like 20 people who'd been playing for less than 12 hours.

After you killed Goku, he went off to cool down, leaving those 20 newbies kicked out of town (it ended up reverting to BLANK's property at some point, so I couldn't go on it anymore), scared, and unprotected.. Up until then, he and Blaze had been our only protection against guys who went, "hey they're goons but I have 40 melee I'm going to go kill them all and deconstruct all their stuff and it'll sure show them", and our impression of you all was,
Goons. They grief. They griefed so much games. While I was the victim of goonswarm only once, in EVE, when they fucked up alliance I was in( YOU @!(^#@(* SCUM BOB WILL BE BACK),I head a lot of stories from other peple. The fact they are coming here... just terrifies me.

We'll, they are just..goons..lol. together with gaia fags they are the internet trash.

They are deluded into thinking they can actually troll/grief us. Haha.

So we have a hostile playerbase that doesn't like us, especially Sami who for some reason seems to really, really hate us, god knows why. And we have the forums baying for our blood everything JTG does something retarded or says something stupid. Anyone who killed JTG could one-hit us, easily -- and when Jon purged the other town, he 5-hit our better players, and he COULDN'T take JTG on, so what does that say about it? You could basically kill us all on a whim, without taking any damage, and you'd just proven yourself willing to commit a crime on our turf, so to speak.

No one went back until we were all SURE it was safe, and by then, stuff was kind of fucked up, and a lot of us were unhappy about it, and your mercy definitely doesn't come across as mercy when "I didn't kill anyone innocent" ends up being, "lol can't port to town idol does anyone have tresspassing to move our stuff?"

I can see how you didn't think of that, since normally towns are a bunch of moderately-levelled players who can totally rebuild and defend themselves and stuff if their leader dies, while our town was basically "20 newbies flock to JTG for help ps what is this game i don't know what's going on should i get skills what do they do".

....Um but anyways! if you want to provide us with industries that would be super duper awesome (and yes -- if someone decides that they'd rather focus on crafts, well, our BLOOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD will just have to be obtained from another guy), and we'd definitely appreciate it, and it'd totally make us happy. We already apparently had one guy come over with a bunch of bread for us, and as far as the general consensus seems to be, we think he's pretty cool. B)

(If you're really offering to help us, personally, I would love some silkcrafting materials, as I planted a mulberry tree or two earlier, but I don't know if it's grown enough to be safe for me to try and raise silkworms yet. Also grape seeds would be nice, and tea seeds, if possible. Thanks lots! We'd definitely appreciate it.)

I have to check my personal stockpile, and after that I'll come to RoB with an alt to give it to you. I'll send you a PM when I'm ready. Anyway, I don't think I need to bring you a mulberry sapling because you've already planted a mulberry tree and waiting for saplings to sprout is PITA. Anyway, wait until right-clicking on your tree brings up the "pick leaf" option before putting your silkworm eggs on the herbalist table.

Oh yeah, in case you don't know how it works, you put the eggs on a herbalist table, and they hatch into worms in 12 game-hours (4 real hours). After that they eat a mulberry leaf every 12 game hours till they eat 4, and then they turn into cocoons. A safe way to feed them is to stick 7 worms in a chest and fill the other slots with mulberry leaves. You can unravel cocoons to get silk thread, but make sure to get someone nature specialized to do it because it gets you more silk. However, I advise you to let hatch all the cocoons you get in the first batch, so you can expand your flock. Sorry if I'm telling you what you already know.

Oh, and after you get these farms and silk started, please share some of the seeds and eggs you produce with other goons, so I don't have to do this again.
