soil digging - make soil limited like clay, so 5 min, and no LP
stone pawing - make impossible to lay stone if tile have been laid with stone
map making - localmap after writed to regionmap, destroyed, so paper spending so great that its non productive
bucket grinding - make strings more often to fing and put them in requirement
woodcutting -
loom - make objects give lp only after they fully built
mining - remove zig-zag digging, or add non-breakable random tiles to stop zig-zaging

Don't think I need to continiue, there are 20-25 more :) And still system is different right now, so it didn't matter.

Imo, when you have to change so many little things to make something work (and you would probably have to change more as botters kept finding their new thing), it's because the system is itself flawed. I believe the devs saw it the same way and decided to cure the disease and not just treat the symptoms.
I'm sure what you say about bots still being used to regularly change curios is true, but the truth is they are much more limited and have much less influence in the final power the character can achieve, and that is a merit of the new system.

specific "fixes" to each type of action is a terrible solution

This. I hated the LP nerf on every bottable action in w4. That is not a solution at all, but just a punishment for all players.

None of the fixes Koya suggests involve a LP nerf, btw ;)

What if we remedial acts didn't give LP? At least make it more like discovers or something. Though you still have to problem with the continuous hunters who can spike their LP greatly and probably a couple of others.

Leave character at place where rare curious spawn. Bot enters, collects, exit... after 12 min entering again, if nobody at location, it reloads, and all stuff appears again. Anyway if you have 10 chars at account you can gather a lot of rare curious in few days. Just enter once a day by yourself to gather what he got...

If that's your idea of botting everything can be botted.
