Make crossroads and banners have no colision allowing you to walk through them. (like Burg suggested)

This is a solution.

Few more metal isn't a solution, neither a penalization for big faction. (They have tons of crap metal to waste for griefing). So, what part of "more metal needed" is a solution, for you?

+1 to what Bunny said, really summed it up better then I ever could of. I couldn't agree with you any more! Also you were able to reference events in W1 and W2, which I wasn't around for... I just think back to W3 dying to Sodom, and again the threat my village felt from them when I killed people. I recall killing people for stealing tobacco from our open idol area, killing them for what I deemed "justified reasons" was even looked down upon. Yes, you guys kept the world' clean.
You may have foiled the plans of BAD-EVIL this time, but there is no rest for the wicked.

Stuff like this (and the recent logout/hearth timer changes) really put some doubts in my head that the devs are capable of actually balancing game mechanics rather than putting bandaids ontop of bandaids. I'm almost scared to see how horribly broken Salem is at this point.

This updated failed because they are focused on Salem. I had forgotten how dramatic people are on forums. Like it actually gets their point across.

Like always, a patch on a hole that creat a bigger hole.

This is always stupid. Good job dudes, now let's find some stupid metal to have a town teleport, and let's die while you're running from a killer hiding in your home to finally log off safe, no, not safe, youll die offline also if you've ran like hell.

Tomorrow what else? Auto drain stamina when there is a bear near the screen?

Fix the game if you want fix it, or leave it like it is now until you have time to create a NICE update.
A patch arranged in 48 isn't usefull for no one.

Personally from my point of view, to fix this is to bring it all the way back to zero, to start from scratch again or at least at some form of a stable basic engine, and work your way back up to figure out why the problems persists up till now, and acknowledge such issues...

Denying something as a potential problem, is a problem in itself.

I personally think that not only was the older worlds and systems to be more fun, but generally less chaotic and with much less global activities, especially on a grand scale.

The current game is more of a giant scaled chaotic mash-up, where development is based on a person's whims.

I think everyone would have more fun to 'reset' the entire thing and start from scratch again, but with more knowledge about how to help make the game better (IF the community here even wants to fix or help them develop the game better, or would rather exploit it for selfish egotistic gains).

I'm not saying, delete the world and make the new one, I'm saying 'disable all features up till now and implement which features should stay or not as a essentially core element of the game'.

Like reverting back to the old LP based system, but since you have knowledge of why it went wrong, you can bring thus system in a totally different direction in development... Only if the community lets the developers that is...

The botting would then also be rendered invalid, because at that point, the developers could do something new that custom clients can't take advantage of.

But yeah tl;dr cause:
Or they could work on Salem, just the same thing being developed but with silly looks, and takes the whole feedback from this game to it's core. But I personally find 2D isometric for these genre better.

not if you like animations and avatar customization. the piecemeal art style they use for Haven is very limiting.

loftar once said a few thing's to me...

and this is what there working on....a new system for the game to run on.

band aid are cuz they really can give less of a fk about the current system.
really it more or less a few line of code to fix a few problem but no major work being put into the current system.

I mean. I cant give a rat dam ass also. He does not want to ruin the player base by saying "hay! im making a new system and the world your playing on is more or less a joke. have a great time playing knowing it will be gone in the spring"
