it's free-to-play in the beginning but as soon as u choose ur nation and go to the capitol of ur nation u cant do ANYTHING without bein abonized-.-
i tried the game and it was ok til i got to my nation
now im sittin on the nation's territory cant kill any monsters, cant do quests, cant even leave there anymore
for ALL shit u have to be abonized
so free-to-play ends way too fast
thats more like a trial
so u can change the description to P2P cause without payin it cant be called playin....

I'd agree. This game offers a "play until lvl20" trial essentially. After lvl20 there's nothing left for you in the free zone.

At level 8 it's not like you've invested much time in that character anyway. And those type of games are kinda boring with such short level caps. (I was a paying member at one point and hit lvl 20 in three days I believe)

if u find the item 100 years of wisdom a few times than itll be even faster than 3 days.......
the owners of the game should rly change their attitude-.-
misleading their users with "free to play" written FAT on the homepage
actually this could cause some major legal issues and they dont make lots of friends like this
their games will be bad mouthed by annoyed F2P-users on forums and other sides
that wont attract lots of new user

I played FFXI from 2003 (its release) to early 2011 and I can honestly say that anything SE touches is ruined with horribly thought out systems and even worse customer service. Here's an example: If you sign up for ffxi on the 30th of the month, they'll charge you for the month and the next day, charge you again ($12-15 each charge). If you ask about this they basically tell you to fuck yourself. Another thing is, if you cancel your subscription you automatically lose the rest of that month's play time. Sign up on the 1st, cancel sub on the 2nd, lose all the rest of the play time.

No legal issues, but they'll see their playerbase take a hit for it likely enough.
