If you leave out words from the middle of the sentence, you aren't taking it out of context, you are misquoting.

It seems like the slightest nudge can derail this thread in a cataclysm of fail...

I see him more as an imposing force that %90 of the population dislikes.

I honestly don't really care. Delamore can come and kill me if he finds me, I would just become a hermit farmer. Whatever the case, I refuse to look at the goons more then equals. The most I probably will ever do with them is trade with them. Delamore can spend tons of resources and people to come and find me, but I think he would be rather disappointed at my little settlement. Nothing really worth much anyways at my claim.

He cried like a bitch in IRC that night. If I could go back, I'd kill his and the Goons' reincarnations even more in the chance that they'd leave for good. As a funny aside, what did they give Blaze for him not to respond?

As was said before, starting an anti-goon crusade will only give them greater numbers because they'll go on the forums and advertise how there's a large war going on and it'll drive the amount of goon bees higher and higher (look at GoonSwarm). The collective Loftorb hide behind every issue hammering away at the "this is an alpha, see, alpha means we don't have to fix anything" and they can't even test their own systems properly (Jorb admits to sneaking himself lembas, a god full healing item, while play testing the 'normal' experience). Attacking the goons head on is never going to work, it never really has worked, and even discussing how to "deal with goons" requires a collective of strong willed minds (or your own forum where you can simply ban off or delete derailing posts) or else you'll all go off the rails when spinning dragon ball avatared goons come by with derail bait.

The only plan doesn't seem to ever be analyzed here is, well, the only plan that is guaranteed to work when implemented: Exhaustion. Let's look at it with science:

A fire requires a few things to exist: oxygen, a fuel source, and and a catalyst. You can take fire "head on" by dousing it, but in this case goons are more of an electrical fire in that you'll only make problems worse by dousing it. You can also take a fire out by cutting its fuel source (so it burns what it can but it can spread no further) which would essentially be players forming up to blockade and harass goons preventing their supply chains from operating. The final solution is to deprive the fire of oxygen, which in this case is akin to casting Armageddon in the Ultimas :)

Goons are fire, and the catalyst of goons is Drama. The fuel source of Goon Drama is their infrastructure, and the oxygen is Pubbies (pubbies are you guys). Stop posting a thread every time you get raided and you cut their catalyst (this is basically making it un-fun for them to bully), dedicate as much resource as you possibly can to interrupting the operation of cities like Chernobyl and Oregoon so that the super players have no-one to feed them and have a difficult time recruiting (as their own recruits will lose willpower getting stabbed repeatedly), or just have most players leave the game and go play something like A Tale in the Desert where the goon presence failed to ignite.

"No gods, kings, jorbs or loftars, only Man." -- Andrew Hearthling.
tl;dr - stop bitching, start acting, or stop playing
