That feel when you recognize most of them, where the fuck I wasted my life?

Since I am not in the mood to search for OP without too many hints I'll just post my favorite last seasons show.

What attracted me to it is outstanding realism and probably that I know exactly what MC is going trough. MC starts off with tennis as just a hobby with 0 knowledge about it. Despite working hard before first match he loses, but each loss just encourages him to work even harder and strive for perfection. Just in 1 year he reaches levels of other professional sportsmen. I can relate to every moment and feeling, yet it took me a little over 4 years to reach high position in world rankingsin space models.
It has sad moments of loss, fun times of working and attending in competitions. MC embodies the feeling of what it means to be a sportsman reaching for 1st place.

this is currently THE MOST POPULAR SONG among kids in japan now, called "Youkai Watch", another game-based anime. i believe its not broadcasted overseas yet, but maybe the original game is already available.
adults overseas, be prepared, itll invade your anime channel for kids sooner or later ;) some say this is another mega hit like pockemon, parents here are already exhausted with the hype but kids dont seem to care and are so much in love with it so far. this "gera-gera-po" phrase is so catchy and funny that kids love singing/dancing it.

another link to the same tune:

spoiler alert for those who havent watched kuroko's basketball season 2. otherwise, ignore the unrelated animation.

more hint:
for long, most baseball fans have been critical of private high school baseball teams gathering talented students to win the national championship tournaments, and the majority of the baseball stories are about success stories of weak teams winning with protagonists. this manga/anime is one of the very few that actually talks about the reality of high school baseball situation here positively and let the protagonist join one of the strongest teams with great facilities and talented teammates, and didnt cater to the long-lasting major trend. it dug the invisible demand of baseball fans and has been earning good receptions, selling more than 20 mil copies in original manga sales.
even more hint:
latest high school baseball anime about a pitcher who did not know his own gift and starts training with talented teammates and faculty at a renowned highschool with their best training facilities, to be the ace of the team for the highschool national championships (and likely to be a pro in the future).

ummm...

...well.

another tune for another anime, for those who rather watch old anime than the latest ones

for clearer sound

we hear this tune every summer and feel the season. it has become one of the "classic" tunes for the season.
more hints
another classic baseball anime but more towards romance, friendship, and brotherhood. the protagonist was an older brother of the twin, the younger was an elite pitcher, but only a few knew who actually was born with the true gift.
its a story about three childhood friends, who all dreamed of being(boys pitching, girl cheering) at the highschool baseball national championships in summer.

content deleted to keep the atmosphere more friendly

Anyway, it's the opening theme of "grave of the fireflies".

content deleted to keep the atmosphere more friendly

Let's rather have some videos:
(a warning at this point: both of the videos below contain very obvious spoilers, either in the info field or the links, so try to avoid those if you want the challenge - I couldn't find better videos)

I think this first one should not be so difficult because it even ran on TV here some years ago. Just on a music channel but that's where all the better animes were usually shown. And if it makes it into our shitty TV (with a full dub no less) it must be somewhat famous.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f389RIgLelo

It's an ending theme by the way. And to be honest I already forgot most of the storyline but I remember that I thought it was good. May well be different if I'd watch it again today.

Hints for those who need them:
the opening theme is a hiphop piece, the setting is in the Edo era of Japan, but sometimes it is mixed up with modern elements

And here is a second and more recent anime that is more to my liking but probably not well known:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPba0Z_e-YI

An opening theme for a parody show. The ultimate bad guy made me laugh pretty hard. It was one of these "Wait..... are they refering to... OMG! This can't be true, lol!" moments. Too bad the show can also be very boring at times starting already with the first two episodes. But the humour in the boss fights always makes up for it.

Hints:
it's all about (japanese) TV hero stereotypes, often applying a "what if this were real?" situation to make fun of something

Also a general hint concerning both shows (this one may actually be a bit too much):
Their names both start with the same word

As usual the videos are unrelated to the animes!

Edited to remove offensive content. Possibly also to clear the name but it's not like it matters much. It would be a rather dumb and clunky name to use once Haven2 is out.
