I suppose that's how an architect's mind works then. Interested mainly in the creation itself and how it reacts under different conditions. Maybe without that we wouldn't have a game to look forward to to follow our own impulses.

Therefore I wouldn't say we're guinea pigs or meat. More like random variables that need to be processed properly......

actually sounds more humane to me

For the 5th time now...you still have sand in your pussy because I had to kick you out of my skype channel because, and it still hasn't changed, you insist on continuing that retarded Bob Dole shit. it was "vaguely" entertaining for about an hour but you had about half of the people in my chat wanting to leave unless I kicked you. I'll happily go copy/paste the log sin here so everyone can laugh at what a bitchfit you pitched when I asked you nicely to chill with the Bob Dole shit. Now carry on little boy.

Wasn't that 4 years ago?
I meant what I said in all sincerity, i'm not being mean to you.

Incidentally I'm not sure what you are chirping up about anyway, you've never been in a town with me nor even met me ingame, you were just some who asked to be added to my chat. And no, this was around halfway through World 7.

I was just trying to help. If your friends always backstab you, it probably has to do with your personality, so i was giving you some ideas on how to remedy it.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Just to be clear, there are many reasons for the feature other than just alt abuse. I'm generally just curious to see how it will affect the social dynamics of the game.

So we, all hnh players are just your test subjects for your experiments?

You must be new around here, they've clearly stated for years that their main thrust in development is to see how many sweet, sweet tears they can milk off of us players.....

While I know the fag to decent player ratio has increased to unfun levels in the later worlds one would have to find the thing all these people have in common and that is you. You either are a terrible judge of character or you're so annoying you'd drive anyone to betray you or more likely a combination of the two.

or I'm one of the most well known players of this game and everyone thinks they'll gain some kind of "status" by killing me as evidenced by the 100+ "I killed Painhertz" threads over the last 5 years. I'm gonna go with my guess. In reality there are probably a good 20 or 30 people I've towned with that were cool but most of them don't have the stamina I do when it comes to dying a rebuilding characters so they mostly stopped playing. Regardless I have now spent the majority of my time in Haven hermiting, not like that's stopped the endless parade of try hards hunting me down. In reality I do it to myself, if i just didn't communicate with people on these forums and on Skype, no one would know who I was in game and I'd stand the same chance of dying as anyone else. All that being said i'm gonna roll on August 21rst and no little fucktards are going to dissuade me of that.

So how do they know who you are in-game anyways? I tend to pick a different set of names for my main and alts whenever I play, and unless I reveal my in-game name nobody knows it's me. (My current name is relatively obvious, but it's the exception.) If you're really worried about your reputation you can even just post from your alts for stuff like trading. If you really care then there's no reason your reputation on the forums should affect your reputation in the game.

Friends of friends of friends, you let even 1 person know who you are and either intentionally or accidentally they'll let it slip.

Tonky has good taste in meat, those are some fine cuts indeed.

Now, getting her to send you Chuhi in exchange for peanutbutter cups... That's a different story.
