Riddles, real ones

Two men walk into a bar. Both order the same drink prepared the same way.
One man guzzles his drink (thirsty fool); the other drinks slowly.
The former lives, the latter dies.
Why?

No, Posion in the Ice, the guy who guzzles his isn't affected, since the ice has to melt into the drink to release the poison, the guy who drinks slowly dies because his ice started to melt, only logical way for it to happen.

I use to be a riddle buff when I was a kid, I remembered the cool ones...

The moon casts a shadow like it was cool (so does the bow shock, now that I think about it, but at least no sublunar, earthly shadow.)
Which rises the rather zen question, if light is blocked in a cone, but noone is around to hide in it, is it really a shadow?
