It's not about discovering bugs, it's about examining the game balance. Things that people bot a lot are things that need to be changed so they involve more human input (in form of decision making preferably) and are more fun.

Lots of thing need to be balanced and a little more metagame is needed to not become bot ourselves, but if you start to bot, at the same time you can't say anymore what is in the need of a balance and what is simply better if you don't need to do it personally.
To know what need to be changed, you need to do it yourself, and most of you have done this.

Then, bored, you've created bots to avoid annoying tasks. It have nothing to do with balance, this point. Bot it's not needed to test what is unbalanced for humans.

Agreed. But i also agree with flame, you can bot to test the balance. But it isn't necessary. You can easily just say whats boring and whats not..
Hope you have a great day

Like I said flame the point is to change those botted things so there's less incentive to bot them. And remove most of the tedium that causes so much botting, like harvesting one tile at a time.

But for that we'll have to wait for the devs to become active on hnh.

For changes like this we need to wait, really a lot.

In the meanwhile, better not gift easy bots everywhere.

So if you prefer that the op of the topic put a guide on "how to bot hh", say your "yes", or maibe also your "not".

A "i dont care" is somehow legit.

But without botting we won't know just how bottable specific activities are.

Thats not a reason to let everybody bot.
I don't realy care, but i'd rather not want to see bots everywhere.
But than again its a test so we can bot if we want.

Let's just say we can keep arguing with our arguments because they both have good statements.

..well, all the game is bottable, actually. I wonder what sense may have this research.

The game itself is Do those thing by yourselves, if you search what is fun to do and what's is less fun to do with a bot, i seriously miss the sense. o.o'

Solution: some bot to test whats bottable. Some dont to test whats fun and find bugs :)
Hope you have a great day
