Nope, and no clue which way you go, so you could end up back in Boston if you just star walking in any one direction.

If ya look at my screenshot up there that cliff spans the entire west (appalachian mountains by any chance?). I'm guessing that's the test before you get to the high tier zone seeing as you would need mountaineering, rope, and hella lot of stamina and hp if they fall.

On a side note, I feel like hes staring into my soul......

Log in > Try to open options > whole computer crashes.
Log in again > go to boston > disconnected.
Go to paradox forums to get salem on my home computer > no download link > forums slow as shit > have to memory stick the client over.

Am I having fun yet?

You have two god-given tools to get out of Boston. Use them! That or beg 20 silver off someone to get a random teleport (but I can tell you you won't be ready to manage a homestead without those first few hours spent as a roaming forager, anyway, as you'll just get lost from it).

Silver comes from collecting certain items and selling them at the vendor stands: Arrowheads and Indian Feathers will be the first things likely available to you. Other things become available as you acquire more skills.

Don't know about crashing the computer, but the client crashing or not connecting is a real issue of a lot of people right now. I'm thinking it has something to do with the new client.
