Religion has cause so much violence and intolerance coupled with the fact that i must go to a special building every sunday and apologize for being a human lest i burn forever doesnt seem like something an all knowing and reasonable god would do.

To reiterate, I'm fine with you believing in god. But dull minded, angry little theists like you make me really sad when they spout rubbish about Darwin like they know what they are talking about*.

There is no need for you to argue with science to justify your belief in the existence of the supernatural. It should be a matter of "faith alone", you don't need to (attempt to) prove it a scientific or mathematical sense. The only evidence that should matter is your personal experience, imo, and I would never try to intrude on that. You shouldn't intrude on matters of science that have nothing to do with religion, and then we can all get along well enough...

Allow me to reiterate:

1) Science and evolution exist. So why shouldn't I use the manner in which the world is observed to explain my own personal belief system?
2) Never tried to prove anything. Even if I did believe in the Christian model I wouldn't want any of you fucktards mucking about in heaven with me. All I did was give some reasons why I believe life is too complicated for science to be the end all be all in regards to the creation of human existence.
3) That specific response was aimed at dagriblarghasomething because he's been a fucking twat the entire thread.
4) Believe what you want, but I already stated almost everything you wrote in this pointless post earlier in the thread.

Life, is a test.To see if you are worthy enough to live in heaven or you deserve hell. You are sent to the world, with billions of other contestants. how you react with them, the one that lives by knowing what writes in Kuran or other holy book, Kuran isnt a rule book, its a book of advice. The ones that rape children etc. are the ones that lose. they will sent to the deepest layers of hell. It doesnt mean you will go to heaven if you dont rape a child either. You come here in a obstacle course and obstacles are other contestants and satan. There are words in Kuran about satan definitely will try to stop you thinking from the infinite life youll have after this one and addict you with pleasures of life. The children and the one that rape the children, the child surely doesnt want that. Thats adviced you not to do that in Kuran either. But its his choice to rape the kid, and go to hell. What you do to other contestants actually proves you. Because another word on Kuran is, God will forgive you for everything you have done, as long as the ones that are effected by your mistakes forgive you. The guy that raped the children, you can have no doubt on he will go to hell you can have my word. But god wont do anything effecting the test as long as effects outside the test try to do something. You dont think god doesnt protect humans. Using science in the name of disproiving that God exists is foolish.

My AP physics teacher in high school told me something very interesting once. During a conversation about how he finds "God in science", he remarked that it was entirely UNscientific to believe that God doesn't exist given all of the information we have discovered through scientific study. If one looks at all of the equations that calculate gravity, permeability, electric force, magnetism, and so many others, it truly is a wonder that these equations are so perfect. He also remarked about the probability that a universe like the current was created. He presented us with un-biased calculations about the universe that were truly astounding.

And so, I believe him. It is completely unscientific to look at all of these probabilities and perfect equations with perfect integer exponents and then discredit them. There is clearly more evidence (found in science) to point towards a God than there is to point against one. How can you call yourself a scientist yet ignore the evidence? That's not being a scientist. That's not science.

To look at this equation:

c = 1/sqrt(μ0ε0)

And then think that there is not some kind of plan or organization to this universe is in itself unscientific.

Now, one might call me a hypocrite. I talk about how I don't think God exists, then talk about how He might exist now. I still stand by my last post--I have other reasons for believe there is no God, but I am not going to use science to try and back up my claims.
