I have no problem with him posting his updates here. It's not like the game is pay to play and he's trying to rake in some cash from us. Members of this community are watching and playing this game right now and there's clearly interest

Also, Jorb and Loftar are away with Salem. If haven is a side-project and is being left to stagnate until Salem is more stable then why not let the community not interested in Salem discuss and read about the progress of Colonies in a community they're already used to

Devsdon't care when someone change the client and build a total different way to play theyr game. Then i don't think they'r interested in someone that spam his own game here.
If devs don't care, we should not care. Is not our problem, so let's see this colony updates.

I think it depends on the update.

If you just implement a handful of new items there is probably no need to post it here everytime. If however you implement some new mechanics and systems that change the game then sure, go ahead and inform the people here.


I personally wouldn't even mind if you posted every update here as long as your game stays free to play.
