Seeing score calculations taking much time, let me bump the thread with a riddle. I'd like to answer some to fit the rules, but i cannot find clearly unanswered ones. So here it is:

John came home at evening and drank all the water in the house. By the morning his beloved Mary was dead. Why?

Yeah, right.

Pretty famous one by now.)

Maybe this would last a bit longer, though it is also pretty old:

A man lives on a 22th floor. Every time he come home he rides the lift to the 18th, and makes the rest of way by stairs. why?

It's a child, a dwarf, whatever... he's not tall enough to reach the button for the 22th.

Right.

Well, i'll make a final try with old stuff:

Theres a small building in a desert. In the building there is a hang up man(hanging in couple of feet above the floor). No furniture or any objects could be found inside, just sandy floor. Nor theres anything outside, for miles, exept a car, on which that man arrived(he couldn't simply walk through desert, right?).
How did he managed to hang himself up?

On the day of the spy's execution the king will put two marbles in a bag one black and one white, if the spy draws the white marble he is free if he draws the black marble he is decapitated. The king however has other plans instead of putting a black marble and a white marble he puts two black marbles in the bag hoping to ensure the spy is killed. One of the spy's contacts informs him of the kings plot. At the trial the spy does something that forces the king to let him go. What did he do?

He draws one of those black, not showing it to crowd. Then shows everyone the one that is left in bag, which is black, assuming that he drew the white one.

Can you make the answers in the first post link to people answering on this forum? Immediately seeing the answer kind of destroys any ability to try and think of the answer yourself.

Got on the car?
Certainly, in taking revenge, a man is but even with his enemy; but in passing it over, he is superior; for it is a prince’s part to pardon. - A wise friend.
