Go back to bed, and take teleportation with you!
You may have foiled the plans of BAD-EVIL this time, but there is no rest for the wicked.

Everyone enjoy teleporting while it lasts. Barracuda just dared the most arrogant person in this game :(. We're screwed.

Pretty sure burg's offered to do that.

No clue what the drama is about but I stand by the crossroad change under any and all circumstances. Crossroads being a few branches and some dreams is was and will always be retarded regardless of what detrimental effects it may admittedly have on the present gamestate where plenty of cheap crossroads are already established.

Oh, but it does change a lot of things...for the worse. Now it's impossible to defend ballclay nodes. :) The material cost is largely arbitrary and illogical anyway.

Of course, this isn't something that I'd expect for people who have never been apart of any significant factions like Sodom to comprehend. All I see now are a bunch of newfags and idiots who know next to nothing.

Of course, if you really wanna break the game further, we should collaborate. I have some pretty...interesting ideas, to say the least.

go play something else if you don't like it.

All of your veterans have permanently left the game already. Looks like you will have a solid and reliable playerbase for when you actually have time to implement that "Haven 2.0" of yours, huh? ;)

Wakfu's not available at the moment. :) Much better game with much better graphics and combat system.

The issue is more with the negative effects it has on lower class players who have difficulty gaining access to the metals required. There should be an alternative method to solving crossroads spam. Admittedly this is (in loose terms) in alpha state, so these things should be addressed now.

jorb wrote:Since all we hear are complaints about how broken the world and the game and the siege mechanics presently are, no one should mind the slightest if we decide to run some experiments to see what we can do about that. Long live the perpetual alpha, and go play something else if you don't like it.

I cannot speak for everyone, but I encourage you to experiment all you want with the game mechanics to find some balance. Another thing to keep in mind is to continue experimenting even after what you find to be a "suitable fix", for the possibility of finding an even better one.

jorb wrote:While we're on the subject, I wonder what bringing back brick-bashing would change....

In the later months of a world, it would essentially remove the effectiveness of vaults as long as 2 large opposing factions have access to brickbashers.

Haven and Hearth in it's current state isn't suited for the removal of teleportation. Before revising this topic, first assess how every aspect of gameplay is changed by the removal of teleportation instead of just going ahead and removing it.

To be fair, protecting a clay spot with crossroads is an abuse, even if it is the only way ;).

Should totally bring back brick bashing, just make it take a fucking long ass time :)

So is mindlessly griefing a resource node, but I wouldn't expect you faggots to get that through your thick skulls to begin with.

 , ya it is, but being able to protect a resource spot forever just because you can keep the auth up on a town is retarded. Though, of course, i wouldn't expect anyone from pandemonium to know anything about keeping auth on resource spots up
