I made a brand new alt and started a new settlement just to see what it is like without the lag... I don't know what to do with myself, it's like learning a whole new game.

I'm waiting until world 7 also,
Bear bashing, auth walls, minehole walls, bug rams, alt walls, these are all things that need to be looked into first and I really hope that they're fixed before the gen of a new world.

Has Jorb and Loftar officially confirmed that there will indeed be a World 7? Last time I had hear was that they were going to just continue to work on this one and fix it up after Salem comes out. I personally am hoping that World 6 will last as I have manged to play through the lag and would love to see this world continue. I know heaps of people want a new one but they were the ones who gave up due to lag.

No, the devs have stated nothing about a reset happening for World 7.

If he ever plans on updating hnh again there will be reset, naturally. Especially with the huge bugs out there.

You can have updates without resets or else there would have been weekly world resets before. =)
Bigger bugs have been squashed without having a world reset either. What generally causes a reset is a compatibility break or data corruption.

Perhaps a remedy to this is to stop giving world names, as if it hints that there could be another?
