Very interesting thread. I don't see why anyone would make a big deal about it. The bought character will just be wiped come W7. Let me think of a good analogy to use...

This would be like...

The only problem I see is that some people are trying to "own" other people money or influence their spendings, cause they clearly envy guys who are receiving it. Is it moral? Is it right thing to do? Let people who are doing it decide that (the spending ones). Maybe they are rich and they don't care, why would you?

Weird that none of you are registered on Bugatti forums and whining there how no one should pay 30.000€ to ENTER QUE for waiting to be able to order car which is worth 300.000€ +.

But you see I have to be clearly jealous on someone who has to make their money on a broken indie game that could be reset any minute.

The thing is that anyone selling for real money clearly has no morals whatsoever. The problem is that apparently nobody here cares. For example am I pretty sure that many of the deals here are being made with minors.

Also, nothing of this is yours Ramo. So how can you sell something that belongs to another person?

The people buying are just plain stupid and I am torn between my sense of honor to protect them from making dumb decisions or watch them and laugh.

To sum it up people are selling something that doesn't belong to them to people who are often probably not allowed to make a contract at all for prices that are ridiculous given the current status of the game and thus they are also breaking the game even more by making it pay2win. No problem at all, you are right.

You just don't get it do you. Or you don't want to maybe. Yes, no one is selling anything "valuable" or something theirs or anything to hold onto or grab it. What is being sold here is TIME. And time is very important factor at all grinding games on our lovely planet. If someone is 50 years old, he has job, he has kids, wife, family, hobies etc and by the end of hard working day, he wants to go to play a bit of HnH. He realises that in 1 hour of time that he has, he can't do much on his own, yet he wants to participate in some fun stuff as maybe raiding, stuff building, hq raising etc. So either he has to invest way more time (we know how much it takes per day to do such things) OR take a shortcut and BUY his fun. So he decides to pay 50$ which is smallest problem for him, buys kiln q100 and enjoys 30q raise in his trees and everything in his village and he has fun! Then he also buys good equip for another 30$ and a fighter for 20$ (example) and he can go and fight others now too. Which he obviously wouldn't be able to do with 1 hour per day that he has.

So he WANTS to do that, he HAS the resources and it is an option to do it, since its not forbidden by game producers (if it would be, I would be also against it 100%). And anyone doing it knows that game or world will not last forever, but they are buying time to have fun, so who are you to tell them they are dumb if they want to do it? I am fairly sure you spent some of your money for dumb shit in your life and there was no one around to preach you.

If you can't stand here watching how people are (not) getting ripped off, then don't look at forums, or as said, you can always go to Bugatti page and whine there

Me for myself, I never offered anything for RL money, I started to get PMs from people who don't have time or are more lazy for certain boring tasks, so its easier for them to do such trade than with ingame stuff. I don't see problem here and I am the one who control my moral

i agree completely with burg and i think that makes me evil or something, as a general rule "pay2win" is bad, really bad, and anyone who makes the time argument, who gives a flying fuck if you don't have the time to grind a character, doesn't mean you can bypass all the work everyone else did by greasing someone's palms

If it's possible to have factories running, producing characters like this one, bred to be sold and then wiped with W7 (whenever that may be) they may as well start selling "premium accounts" who's characters all start with a few million lp...

to argue that you shouldn't have to grind, whether it be for lack of time or anything else, is simply to say "i'm lazy and want to buy what others work for"
