You can with forgotten beasts and many other creatures. Take their skulls and make a totem out of it! You have to mod the game if you want to do this with "sentient" creatures, though.

just got sieged everything went well besides four of my crossed-eyed copper wielders. I think one got his hand lopped off and now im getting spammed by "tomb la dee la item inaccessible" i cant seem to find where it is. have any advice?

Not sure what to tell you. There's several situations where jobs bug up and dwarves try to do things that would be impossible for them and end up spamming a ton of "Urist cancels job: to stupid to figure out any better".

Can't be that bad.
Hammerer picks up steel war-hammer and administers a blow to each arm and leg.
Everything fractured.
Dwarf bleeds out onto jail floor.

thats why if you must have a hammerer you get a weak dude using a weak hammer.

just had ~135 goblins with mounts show up. this will be interesting. ill update when its over.



edit: 54 out of my original count are still alive killed around 70 gobos w/ mounts. pretty much everyone is dead. was a fun fight though and lasted long enough that corpses started rotting. jabberers and crossbowmen are what really killed me.
