Man you can bot ANYTHING if you really want. Put it this way currently you can forage FOREVER in the world, there is no limit, for planting there would be a time frame between the planting and harvesting, got any better ideas instead of just pissing your pants?

I am sure krikke was thinking about the fact that you could plant inside your walls, which would defeat the point of foraging.

^This. Didn't mean to be rude or something. Besides, I know anything can be botted, I was just saying this would be easier..
Hope you have a great day

I disagree. From my experience I think its quite realistic to have that many for a medium sized group.

That could be possible if those persons weren't using back-up alts.

Because if they do use alts - it's illogical to stockpile so many curios and not feed them to the alts. So, assuming they are people using logic, the consumption ratio of those curios is much bigger so therefor income is bigger as well. This is impossible for a medium sized group.

On the other hand if they don't, why the hell they didn't stop after first cupboard. That's a lot of floats for a week for a medium sized group. Because, you know, spending all your in-game time looking for only foloats isn't that much of fun...

Pretty sure we're looking at one guy's haul here, not any sized group.

Where is the proof to that? Or did I just miss something.

because in the time it takes a group of people to gather a collection of something each person has already used one of each for themselves. This on the other hand is a stockpile that doesn't look like anyone has been using very fast at all, thus leading to the conclusion that it belongs to one or two people alone.

some history notes: bots was even before i started play hnh. For example el_Diablo made AutoIt bot in the beginning of W3 to grind lp by digging soil with hunger tracking etc.
Even if you somehow remove custom clients there still will be bots. There will not be so good of course but anyway...

Curio system tried to fix bots but in fact it is a reson why bots become more complex. Instead of one char we now have 3 (or even more) and we need curio for them because curio system let us have 100 chars at the same time. We had TIME == LP system in W3 now we have (TIME == LP) * X. Offline LP gain is shit.

Ugh oh.. another soul see the light...
Also anyone saying that botting is ok as we all cheat. Yeah other cheats are public knowledge, but some bots or scripts aren't. So if you are using tanning bug or fuel bug it's ok, as 90% of people are doing that (other 10% are noobs who can't read forums). With having ultimate bot for foraging is like having major advantage and how many people are abusing that? 10%? Yeah some gank squads who pump their character and level up army of them just to grief around... This Script are giving MAJOR advantage to some people. You can't forage 24/7, but with that bot you can. You can buy everything you want with all that stuff, you can level up army of characters and just let them die for fun. Another problem is that that kind of script makes game and perma death pointless. How much advantage you get with tanning bug? A few time? And fuel trick? A little wood? It's nothing game breaking. This one is, same as bug raiding.

That theory isn't really solid proof in my opinion. Some faction could just be baiting forums into a shitstorm by stockpiling on these curios. I know I like to show off some times.

If isn't true now, it is reality later on. As several people have already stated: anything can be botted.

They had bot, integrated into client for wall checking, bot for collecting logs (food + wine + CR + other shit) like forever ago? What makes you believe foraging bot is something impossible to be done?

I never said its impossible! I'm saying the OP could just be bait. There is no solid proof that those items have been collected by botting actions. This is all speculation that someone somewhere is botting like mad and getting tons of LP.
