My hate for all the Ainran fanboy posts and your irrational "i hate Ainran posts" is about equal.

How is hating Ainran irrational? They are scumbags. They can put a positive spin on their antics all they want, but hating them is easy if you enjoyed the game in World 3 before the botting, bug abuse and raiding became all the game was about. This game isn't about PvP, because the PvP in this game is complete shit. You can't have proper PvP in a lag storm, render nightmare that is Haven & Hearth regardless of what the raiding factions want to believe.

The people I hate have taken a bug-riddled game and abused it to the point that it is simply so broken that players who genuinely loved the game and its infinite possibilities and wanted it to grow in an entirely different direction now want nothing to do with it in its current state.

That is why I hate Ainran. And Koya. And LadyGoo. I hope all of them develop a horrible itchy rash on their genitals.

Just to put Ainran and Koya words in same line makes us know you have no clue what you are talking about. :D

Too much people still "butthurt" for those who still play the "game" or whatever anyone would like to call it now.

Whole world 6 is one big evil bi*ch, huge circle jerk of killing machines who are all no lifers. HnH ftw.

Really to pin the blame on bug abuse on one faction or another is just nonsense. The siege mechanics aren't flawed because players are always looking for and abusing bugs, but because the devs continually make any sort of siege rely more and more on bug abuse while making it more difficult for new blood to enter the game and possibly change the status quo.

For instance, if brickbashing were still an option, do you think that any of the major raiding factions would continue to play the way that they do? No. They'd be summoned and killed pretty quickly. The vast majority of you will argue that brickbashing is ridiculous and shouldn't exist again, you're right, but you can't argue that it wouldn't fix things pretty quickly. You see the thing is that it enforced a certain peace in W3 that doesn't exist now because the devs keep taking the easy way out for dealing with sieges and hearthvaults. Loftar is lazy, there isn't really arguing that given how half assed his attempts to fix things are. How is breaking apart a palisade acceptable but not a brickwall? What he did was create a situation that's beneficial for the raiding styles that we see now where it's build a brick wall, sink or swim. You can raid faster and suffer fewer consequences. If anything the shitty addition of the sledgehammer made it worse, and really Loftar why the fuck did we need a sledgehammer when you could have been a productive little boy and done something to prevent macros?

Another example of the devs being lazy and lacking creativity is the new LP system. Think about it objectively, if you need to fix a problem with bots does it make sense to actually address the issue of botting or does it make sense to change something entirely unrelated? Botting still exists, hell, I use it all the time, and thanks to the new LP system, I can vandalize and murder all I want, a new char is easy to sit down and grow in part thanks to macros never being addressed.

I mean, we're really running out of abuses to be had now. JnL broke the game with the direction that they wanted to take, half assing it every update. They created the situation that you have now. If you want to get ahead, it's not like the old days. Permadeath doesn't mean half as much, siege mechanics have been made to favor HVs by the devs (despite the fact that they supposedly don't like them, shame because they make it worse all the time), and thanks to palibashing and the sledge update, many new players that would potentially reshape the community are quickly driven away. With the devs steering this ship the way that they have been it was only logical that we would come down to raw server abuse, probably DDosing next.

Don't point fingers at Ainran, don't point them at AD, not at any other faction or player. The fact is that they did what they had to do to get ahead in a situationthat was made worse by the devs, the people who you should point the fingers at. If you brought in an objective mind from outside the community you will hear the same thing.

Edit: To be clear, I'm not saying that any of the people being ranked on now are the greatest guys in the world, but don't hate someone for using a bug when it's sink or swim.

I know exactly what I'm talking about. The win at any cost vs. the kill anyone and everyone mentality go hand in hand. Ainran might not vault, bot or over abuse bugs, but they contribute to the prevalence of the raider/griefer over any other type of player and that has helped destroy the player base.

And I do blame the developers. To a point. But I don't chastise the brush when the painting comes out an obscene disaster.

The Devs are the artist, the players are the brush, the game mechanics are the paint.
