However, you usually want to defuse it as much as possible and prepare for the crisis (and imo, governments are massively failing at this). You don't want to just let a bubble burst without taking any action, because of how severe their impact is on the economy.

oh, really? wow, didnt dream any of that! /sarcasm

....cmon, pyrale, please.

Australia has had a fairly socialist policy for ages dude, both liberals and labour in agreement.

The move to sell off public infrastructure and generally reduce the government operation of infrastructure is a fairly recent one (Howard government, possibly keating?)

In general our government (and by extension the people who vote for them) generally still feel that the gov't is responsible for taking a parental role in people's lives (anti smoking laws, net censorship, harsh porn laws).

I'd say the laws that increase individual liberties are the exception rather than the rule regardless of which political party is pushing them

Depends on your context... Capitalists assign rights based on money, so people with equal money have equal rights... Want more rights? get more money! CAN'T GET FAIRER THAN THAT (p.s. we have all the money and can print money whenever we want and if you get money we will take it off you)

though i think you were being sarcastic... this is good, i cant see what people dont like about this system, you have to work to earn your keep... you wanna be rich, work for it, hard work gives reward.

hard work gives enough to live decently (or not so much).
owning capital gives reward.

cool i think...<as you can tell i know shit all about governments>

all i was trying to get across, was that working for your keep is cool, and from what i gather communism is the opposite of this :?:

the system encourages the most evil to arise and people too busy working for their keep to realize the fact.

it is not opposite, but rather to let you work for your village's keep. when your village is huge and you dont notice what good its doing to you, you dont get the feeling of it being "yours". you can see how horrible it can get when your village leaders are corrupt.

Mr. Carter and the Elders didnt get to meet Kim, instead he was used as a messenger boy. lmao
