Do we have an idea of how long a reset normally takes? Sorry, no IT knowledge here... ot very limited.

I wanna get back to my first ever bear I killed... a lvl9 at that! Almost fecking 14k LP for that! :D

Wooooooot!!! Noob party at my place!

Sadly it doesn't save with the map, so you'll lose the bear itself. Sorry. :)

I guess I might as well start using this thread to post information about the crashes (or at least as often as I can bother).

The two most recent now were due to some changes to the login screen that I had to make to fix the bed bugs previously, and triggered upon the creation of a new character. It should be fixed and stable now. For some yet undetermined reason, though, my crash proofer didn't trigger properly on it, so I couldn't save the data, and thus there was a rollback. Terribly sorry 'bout that.

Gah, have to re-dig my basement, and lost my good metal saw.
that was a painful roll-back.
Thanks for giving info on the cause of the crash, loftar. Its nice to know, even if it doesnt change anything.

The crash right now was caused by an incorrect update to the rowboats also related to the bedbugs, triggered by someone logging out while in a rowboat and then log back in somewhere else. I actually realized it a long time ago, but I thought the server could continue running until it crashed because of this or because I shut it down for any other reason, because it is otherwise harmless. It will cause no rollback, and it will be fixed when the server is restarted.

The maps are currently being saved, and I'll restart the server as soon as it's done.

Needless to say, I hope, I just shut down the server to look into this.
