Why's your minimap closed? Don't have a palibasher yet?

Personally, No. I have friends that do though And the minimap is closed because when people who dislike me start camping my village and my crossroads it makes me uneasy foraging on my main. I personally love foraging on my main though and if i'm constantly uneasy while foraging the game is not fun for me to play

It's bad in the sense that it can give an attacker an added option if they decide to besiege that settlement that they otherwise wouldn't have had.

If it's bad enough to go off-topic about it, I don't know, but I'm someone who spent an entire month this world with no more protection than a roundpole fence and a claim.
