Here are the actual changes that need to happen to combat.

    • Increase range on abilities
    • Stop drinking from interrupting combat moves

Before shit talk I'll explain and post a vidya for you all.

Right now as it is the runner has a 1 tile gap that they can abuse to their advantage against the chaser making it near impossible to actually get a kill without a ganksquad.
You can basically run around a clip or evil eye and do whatever you need.
Also the drinking allows for unnecessary movement and making it near impossible to chase someone with decent combat stats.
Remember the point of the weight reduction is so that the player cannot RUN AWAY not chase.

With this shit you can all stop freaking out about combat and actually start bitching about real stuff like soldier swords. :x
Damn I miss when soldier swords were viable.

Might need to do something more to increase that swim time, but I see this as being an effective fix.

Fight or die does not do anything for keeping pvp and crafting balanced.

no fuck your "lets change everything" kind of suggestions cause it leads nowhere
and distracts devs from easy things that could actually improve the system like what talon00302 just posted
although I'd rather choose to reduce follwing distance than increase range on abilities but either way it will fix the "running forever" issue
