OMGANDYLOL wrote:Creating a server is 90% your own scripts. So im not sure where people are getting "lol you add a mod and its done" line from. Thus, i say people won't achieve what i have / will because clearly they have no idea what kind of work it takes.

A month of work is an achievement? So... when will you be old enough to get a real job? I assume of course you're paying for this server out of some kind of inheritance.

OMGANDYLOL wrote:What is amusing the most.. is people bash the game / myself without realizing a few things.

1, I have created a server while you haven't and may never do so.

Paying for hosting is not "creating" a server. If it is, then I've "created" far more servers than you ever have.

OMGANDYLOL wrote:2, I actually take care in hosting my server instead of running it from home.

Paying someone else to do it for you is not "taking care of" your server.

OMGANDYLOL wrote:3, Ultima Online started sandbox games like this, so saying H&H is better is false.

Whether or not UO started online sandbox games, doesn't have any bearing on which one is better.

OMGANDYLOL wrote:Saying UO is shit is false, if it sucked.. again there wouldn't be games like it today

Like-wise saying H&H is shit is false because otherwise, no-one would be playing it, would they?

OMGANDYLOL wrote:(this, farm low level copy with only maybe 10% of its features and gameboy graphics).

Trying to argue graphics when both games have graphics that would run on anything built prior to 1996, is asinine.

And by the way:

Those are Gameboy Graphics.

OMGANDYLOL wrote:4, You take insult to heart when i pic on the graphics. But only fanboys honestly think they PWN...

Just because you separated points 3 and 4 into two separate numbers, doesn't mean you have actually made another point.

OMGANDYLOL wrote:Now, come up with your own list and try to match it.

Most of your points either disparage graphics (given you did not create the graphics for your UO shard, you can't claim "yours" are superior as you did nothing to them) or rely on you having the "technical prowess" to spend a month modifying some scripts. Given you did not build UO from scratch or even design the scripting system, you also can't really claim credit for that.

Instead, you compare yourself to two people who have designed and built a game from scratch, over the course of 2 years, running a home server with more oomph than your "professional" one... And you compare that to your month of scripting.

You don't win that argument.

Script kiddies do.

OMGANDYLOL's passport age might be 21, mentally he is still 14 and a script kiddie, as evidenced by all his posts and "arguments"

Never said it was.

Lothaudus wrote:Paying someone else to do it for you is not "taking care of" your server.

Actually, it is. It shows you know the game will succeed, and it keeps players happy. I know H&H may require little to nothing to play it even with 1000 ping because it requires no quick movement, but any other game does need hosting. So again, you're wrong.

Lothaudus wrote:Whether or not UO started online sandbox games, doesn't have any bearing on which one is better.

Maybe, but again.. UO still has thousands if not millions of users still playing / joining. H&H has maybe 100-200 people online MAYBE, and they're on the forums more than ingame it seems. So it kinda does mean UO is better.

Lothaudus wrote:Like-wise saying H&H is shit is false because otherwise, no-one would be playing it, would they?

Again, there are more people that play Pacman, Hello kitty, Barbie games, Tetres, Even the most shitest games around have more users. This is developed by 2 college kids as a school project based as a web browser. How can anyone "besides you few hundred people who probably go to the same school lol" take this game seriously? Also claiming it to be "its only in alpha" makes no sense after it was for a school project/comp. Not a "hey, lets make a game". If it sucked in the competition, they wouldn't be working on it right now. Games that are serious continue to develop even if they originally suck. You really think these kids are going to continue this game 12 months down the track? i don't.

LothaudusL wrote:Trying to argue graphics when both games have graphics that would run on anything built prior to 1996, is asinine.

No, because it clearly shows what graphics are better between UO and This game. Again, only fanboys would claim this to be the other way around.. Look at your character, Look at your paperdoll.. Look how the world is developed. Again, people who think this is the best game ever only think this is true.. but if they were forced to play this game over anything currently out there, they seriously have no clue about games. Thus, the "omg i died in a game, wtf rage" threads.

Again, if you're creating a decent server, 90% of the scripts are created by the Dev team, not from a download. So unless you have done it before "doubt it" you wouldn't have a clue so give up.. those comments are soo fucking stupid.. It's like saying you're a football coach but you follow dancing.

More oomph than my server? really? i just recently bought a $3400 computer. Im not using it because other than Ram and CPU, a badass computer doesn't really mean shit. Im also not upgrading the RAM due to it being early days and it would be pointless. The point is, their internet hosting is slow and pathetic, thats my point. We're running a 100mb/s connection from the US with 99.9% uptime, Automatic backups with auto restarts while being watched by the hosts IRL.

Again, you lost.

That was after 30 minutes.. we made a better demo website in 30 minutes compared to this one. Just wait until we unlease our finished project with animations etc...

Anyway, im done with this. I can't compete with this game due to the users being mostly carebears and are fanboys of a school project instead of actually playing real games.. anything you say that is negative they react before thinking and apparently, they're MR Knowitalls about how to create servers. I on the other hand know it would take some skill to create H&H, but the game is shit still.

So you are saying quantity = quality?
If you are really saying that you must be.... very...very.... stupid

Who created the game and game-engine? You didn't

Then why did you post the link like: OW YOU GAAAIYS LOOK AT MAAAAAI AWESOMESAUCE WEBSITEEZZZ!!!11!!
As soon as we point out the faults and idiocracies you say: it wasn't real, we got a better one. But you don't show it. Fail much.

"doubt it"

there are parentheses above the 9 and 0 on your keyboard and they are not even similar to quotes.
