My surname Wenström went through the mind of a mental some 15 years ago and came out as Wendelkaka, which quickly became just Kaka, and it's been my name ever since.
Some of my friends don't even know my real name...

I went by pyrofyr for the majority of my online career, when playing Runescape for the first time when it came out since my cousin was using the name. Since I met a lot of people I ended up sticking with it so people don't pop up like "Oh who are you" or things like that, I then changed it to Teleclast as I almost always played ranged characters and it supposedly means "Ranged Destructor" (I never took time to properly translate it ).

I came up with DatOneGuy just to use without tracking back to my other names, but then decided later on to use it here too. :/

A while ago I was sick of my teenage online name, so I figured I'd come up with a new name. After a while I came up with Mqrius, which is pronounced as [i]am curious[i]. Also, my real name is Marius, so if you write Mqrius, I'll hardly see the difference (cut off the long pole under the q ).

Very nice explanations. I notice some people are doing their in game names as well. so here we go, my in game name is Brodich The Crow. the first char I made was (not too surprising) Saltmummy, but my first char was trapped inside the walls around a charter stone. so I started another. once one name is used, I have to come up with something else... at random from my brain... so I went with Brodrich. that char was drowned almost immediately and, wanting to keep the same name I entered it again, accidentally leaving out the second "r." I noticed that that ones name has an extra "r" in it recently. I stay with Brodich becuase it makes me more recognizable to my friends. when I got tired of dying, I renamed him, Brodich the returned. when he was killed, I went with Brodich the Scarecrow. very long right? well fuck it, I drowned him and went with Crow. any char not named Brodich, is usually an alt. also, I really like names that sound Nordic.

Well, Blitz V comes from the idea that I didn't want to use that 1 and X anymore and because it was the fifth character I had made...
I have a crapton of alts with random names that I used to check out the villages with charterstones a long time ago. I don't even remember how I came up with those names...
