Yes, we all know when you're trying to walk a straight line on unknown terrain, you are actually walking a circle due to your right leg being slightly stronger.

If anything, there have been a tad more players in recent days, which makes the server run out of address space a bit more often, but it's probably not statistically significant. The server would need to run on a 64-bit system, quite simply. We might be able to provide such in a not too far off future.

Yes, that's nice and all... but does that require a reset?

I doubt a reset will happen since the things that need to come with a reset aren't done yet...

Eh? No one said anything about a reset...
It would make a bit of sense though: All the code has to be recompiled to 64 bit, and the data *should* be transferable, but that's not a guarantee...
Also, are you sure the things that come with the reset aren't done yet?

That was my bad incorrectly reading the quote :P

Yeah, pretty sure they aren't.

redo LP system or something, better map gen (this mostly), have they even decided on some things that might come is another question.

I know there were a few other things that should be done before a reset, but whether or not they'll happen is a good question.

Perhaps though they have got those things working in their sandbox, but not released? (Don't think so, but it could be.)

Not disputing whether the world is large or small but your statement lacks context. You have no clue where you started at and no clue where you ended up and yet you're claiming to have transversed half of the world in this time based on nothing; traveling for five hours does not bring merit to your claim.

I do have an idea where we ended up since we found ourselves on the grid map and used it to help us travel

By the end of October they might be. The last time we had a complete reset, it was only the combat system that changed.
