id hazard a guess that naowhuts comment is directed at how goddamned boring the faction is rather than a criticism of any actual mechanics

no need to worry loftar

That's weird, actually. Is there any way you can be more specific now in hindsight? For instance, was it lagging when being part of a large party (many avatars in the party list) or specifically when hearthlings were being displayed on-screen? If anyone had the debugging text on, did you notice any behavior in the "LCache" debug line?

Well jorb told me he was lagging too, so you probably best discuss that with him. I recall gato mentioning lagging in big parties some days ago though. I never had that problem until yesterday when we all were on one screen and when I warped out of the area the lag was gone too.

I didn't really lag much until being invited to the party. When I was in the party, I lagged to the point where I couldn't walk without my client freezing.

It was still a little laggy without the party. Part of it could have been the eagles that Jorb spawned though.

Yes, a few days ago, when our party had so many people their icons flowed off of the screen.

My client locked up every 2-3 seconds. Once I left party, everything was fine without even restarting client. So, it probably had something to do with that.

Next time we have a large party going, I'll pay more attention to the LCache display.
