those warnings are bogus, they infact hide you from earning millions of jorbs LP

As a newb, I am totally unable to tell what posts of this post were real, jokes, or sarcasm. :?

I'm going to postulate that swimming does give LP but that even crossing one cell will kill you with less than 200 Con.

And you'd be wrong with your hypothesis. Swimming gives no LP. And crossing one cell won't kill you. Three cells at starter Con however and you've probably passed the point of return.

This is not up for debate or obfuscation.

Don't attempt it with under 100 CON.
Don't swim without a ferryman under 300 CON.
Always consider carrying a ferryman if you may go swimming.

Real men swim without rings of the ferryman though. If you're above 100-150 CON you have to be pretty stupid or careless to actually drown.
