I'd, personally, be in favor of allowing us to keep our only equipped items. That'd give us some tools, and unique avatars for ease of identification and start-up tasks.

While I'm here, throw in some kind of invulnerable zone a good ways around the Rings to prevent getting facepunch'd right out of the gate.

You know, Bottleneck seems a tad overrepresented too. I doubt that such a high percentage of our population would participate in the poll.

I think that the goons are filling out the poll representing themselves as members of other villages in order to compromise the credibility of the poll. Why else would Pine Valley have more votes than residents?

Next episode, we'll talk about how Bob Tim shot JFK. Bonus story - Pumpkin never walked on the Moon!

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of people losing their inventory. I would like to keep my equipped items, though that runs into the same problems as inventory does. I think what would be best if everyone got their inventory and equipment set to the same thing, being what a character would get from the start-up chest. I also love the idea of item quality, it allows for lots of item variation on top of any items implemented.

Also, I forgot to note:

Lol at DF mention. I do like that though. The industry/nature slider could affect the chance of higher quality items, along with the chance to even get the matieral for items.
They could do a bit more damage than others. Imagines "Urist McHearthling has made a Masterpiece Battle Axe of the Twelfth Bay" "Some Goonbold thieves are raiding. They've take Urist McHearthling's Masterpiece" "Urist McHearthling kills himself"

I think only keeping inventory items would let people keep their most useful items, and not be able to stock up on items they don't need. That'd also stop the dupeing, I think. I also think some sort of spawn protection should be made, such as no use of rage/murder for a certain amount of time, as well as a temporary safe zone around the starting area, to allow players to make an escape and not be killed instantly. Perhaps instead of a safe zone, not losing items or LP for 12 or 24 hours.

No, inventory lets people keep everything on their inventory and in altvaults.

Oh, sorry, I meant to say the equipped items, not inventory.
