Day 26:
I caught some rabbits today… And while walking on our path a bear ran headlong at me. I managed to hearth in time from repeated practice but it was still scary. A week ago I think this would have been a life altering event, but I am still in shock about the reincarnation idea. Have I died before? Am I already dead? Kail told me that I would remember but I can’t remember anything. How do I know they are right? I think we’re going to fence off our roads from now on. I notice that I am including myself in the village now, too… I guess that since it has almost been a month I have started to feel more accustomed to this place and lost my drive to find out if I ever had a home before here.
