Kill boars? rather than 60 LP it offers around 3k.

I punch bears, boars, fox, and deer to death.

I get 167 LP from one bucket and 3k from boar. I need more than 5 min to kill one boar and I get 3k with only 2 trees to make buckets out of them. So what is faster?
It's not my fault hunting was nerfed and it's not my fault that slings are useless. I'm not gonna sit in boat for 10 min to aim with bow and then miss... FU!

Lazy ass, it starts going from 10 mins to 1 second the more you kill.

A LIE!
First u need to get survival up that takes ages, after that u get some good bones and leather. After that dry leather and make better bow and out of bones make better arrows. After that grind again to level up MM... Right. Also animals are too rare. Searching for one bear for one hour to get what? 7k LP? I get that in few minutes with buckets.

As much as I hate the bucket grinders and their effects, this is the bottom line.

And as J&L seem to know economic theory well enough (from what I've read they sound most like Austrians) to not be surprised by this sort of behavior, I have to wonder if setting up the LP balance in this way is in fact intentional - some sort of social experiment ;) Then again, balance of this sort is the hardest thing to manage in an MMO (or so I've heard), so it is most likely an unhappy accident. Regardless, there will always be something that is the "yields most LP for least effort" activity; at the moment, it happens to be the activity that also decimates forests :/

So, those of you hunting bucket grinders: if you can do it consistently enough, eventually the disincentive to bucket grinding will offset the incentive of the quick-and-easy LP that it yields - but I don't think there are enough dedicated bucket grinder slaughterers out there to tip the scales that far.

Problem is: whenever u kill bucektgrinder he will 10000% come back and grind even more, coz he want to first get pack to point where he was and after that he want to reach the goal he has before he died.

Make something else more profitable, that won't hurt the landscape so much. Fishing for example, I'm not sure if someone can destroy a fishing spot by grinding there but at least fish is not so popular, there is other food that gives stat bonuses even if it does... And if you are afk fishing you are taking a huge chance because sooner or later, someone will pass by you and see you dont respond... And that's an easy kill.

No buff mining back. Reduce cost of materials for mining hole so everyone can make its own pretty fast. Then everyone will dig, mine and grind underground :)

After reading this thread I'm debating whether I should list sightings and locations of bucket grinding to aid those hunting them or whether this would bring unwelcome attention to my area.
