Pretender don't pretend we are trolling you. You wrote at the same time. If that meant one by one it really was not clear to anybody else than you.

kill to many animals for one boat, so tele back home, dump bodies and go to pick up the second boat *filled with bodies* + other bodies...
some cunt stole the god damn boat

HATE.

-.- not that there was a crime in that. its just fucking annoying to lose the bones of them animals, seeing as I need the bones the most right now.

trap foxes with a fence, one shot from your bow should be enough to make them run, and they cant break the fence while running.
make the boar run from you and punch it to death. even at 1 UA its simplicity itself to do.
avoid bears.
dont bother with deer till you get a better bow or a palisade you can trap it in the gate of.
aurochsen and muaflon; hit till dead

OR

live on rabbits and chickens for the rest of your life.

you dont need a good bow to do good hunting. make arrows from any boar you kill. if you can manage to get a bear, use its bones for the arrows. better arrows means faster aim time. a good bow should be easy as pie to get. q 10 sticks and a good hide can be made into a decent bow. q20 isnt that bad though. I used one for a long time.

once your UA is high enough (at least 35) you can start punching deer to death, but it takes a long time and alot of patience. also you've got to trap it and weaken it to the point of running. once you reach 40 or 50, dont waste arrows on foxes, just strangle them. the sling is good for making the animals not run, but personally, I cant stand the amount of time it takes to kill animals with it.

Out of curiosity, do animals just run in a straight line when fleeing. so if i got one running and it ran into a cliff would it just keep running at the cliff or would it turn and go around it?

They path around obstacles, so if it ran into a cliff, tree, rock, river, person, etc. it would hit them, turn, and run in a new direction. This direction is never the direction in which they came from.

Sure about that? I find it may as well run straight back, if you ran past it as to trap it.
I could make a picture of it but im too lazy and you probably understand anyway.
It might be they always run to a slightly other direction, but they can run back in the direction they come from.

That's a different situation entirely. Rather than run into an obstacle, they run out of range, bug out, and run back to you as if engaging in combat anew. They're not running into a cliff in that situation, only a bug.
